Valspar Salute to Veterans Charity Tournament 2023

Special Operations Warrior Golf Foundation was chosen by Copperhead Charities to serve as the co-sponsor of the Valspar Salute to Veterans Charity Golf Tournament held at the Old Memorial Golf Club in Tampa, Florida. This is the Opening Event for the Valspar PGA Golf Tournament held annually at the Innisbrook Copperhead Course in Tampa. As part of our sponsorship SOWGF had two foursomes that allowed seven of our warriors to play in the tournament. One foursome had MLB great Joe Madden (former Manager of the Tampa Bay Rays, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Angels) as its celebrity. and the other had NBA great Vince Carter (a 22-year veteran whose primary teams were the Toronto Raptors and the New Jersey Nets).
