SOWGF 2024 Annual Veterans Golf Classic—Hunter’s Green Country Club—April 30, 2024

SOWGF will hold its 2024 Spring Veteran’s Golf Fundraiser at the Hunter’s Green Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, April 30. This year’s event will be held in conjunction with the Tour of Tampa Bay Retreat that will bring to Tampa 6-8 SOF wounded warriors for 5 full days of golf instruction and play.  Attending and playing with the warriors will be 4-6 mentors from the business community to assist the warriors with their career transition.  The participating retreat warriors will play in the Tournament event along with SOWGF Retreat Alumni.  In addition to Hunter’s Green Golf and Country Club, the Tour of Tampa Retreat warriors will be playing at Westchase CC, Tampa Palms CC, Cheval CC, and TPC of Tampa Bay.  We have chosen a 1:00PM Shotgun Start that will allow our warriors to have their morning instruction at Tarpon Woods Golf Course owned by our Board Member, Jan Stephenson (former LPGA Great and World Golf Hall of Fame Member) and, in the afternoon, experience a full-fledged golf tournament.
